The Los Angeles County Registrar has officially certified the election results and I’m thrilled to report that we made history together. I am incredibly honored to share that ours is the first campaign in District 7 history to receive more than 6,000 votes! That milestone belongs to every one of you. Thank you for believing in this campaign and in our shared vision for our community.
While my term doesn’t officially begin until December, I’ve already started preparing for Day One. I’m assembling an advisory committee, building a transition team, developing our first 100-days plan, identifying priorities for my first year in office, thinking strategically about the team I’ll build once I’m sworn in, and navigating the City’s onboarding process so we’re ready to get to work from the moment I take the oath of office.

My official swearing-in ceremony will be on Tuesday, December 15. I’ll send another email this fall with the time and location, but I hope you’ll mark your calendar now because I would love to celebrate this special day with you.
One final ask…
Today, June 30, is the last day I can legally accept campaign contributions for this election cycle as we work to retire the remaining campaign debt and close this chapter.
